GARY, Ind. (AP) _ The Gary-Chicago Airport has hired a consulting firm founded by the Indianapolis International Airport’s former CEO to seek an investor in the airport as it tries to become the region’s third major air hub.
 
  The Times of Munster reports the airport authority voted 6-1 Monday in favor of hiring the JClark Aviation Group consulting firm founded by John Clark. The contract calls for a “success-based” fee for Clark’s consulting firm of the greater of $200,000 or 0.5 percent of any public-private partnership deal struck. The airport authority is looking to find a private investor willing to sink at least $100 million into the airport. That would earn Clark’s firm $500,000. 
 
  Clark will only get paid only if a deal with private investors is reached by August.
