STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – A former Steuben County Sheriff’s detective has been indicted on a Level 5 felony charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.

Jordon Trippe has not been arrested, and no warrant is currently on file.

The indictment remains sealed, so specific allegations have not been released.

A protective order bars Trippe from contacting the alleged victim.

His initial hearing is scheduled for November 9.
