FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Fort Wayne firefighters responded to a house fire Sunday morning on Bellflower Lane.

Crews arrived around 7:30 after neighbors reported flames and heavy smoke coming from the garage attic.

Neighbors entered the home and woke the family of three, who all evacuated safely before firefighters arrived.

No people or pets were hurt.

The fire was contained, but the cause remains under investigation by fire officials.
