Fort Wayne firefighters had to deal with a fire at the same church two days in a row.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department tells WOWO News crews were called to the Unity Worship Center, at the corner of Baxter Street and Holton Avenue, at about 5:23pm Tuesday. When they arrived, they found a fire in the church’s roof rafters in the main assembly area.

It was under control within minutes. Nobody was inside the building at the time and no injuries were reported. The same church had been damaged in a fire Monday morning. Both fires are under investigation.
