FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Housing Authority is closing its public housing waiting list.

In a press release, the Authority says the move is being done to “increase the efficiency” of their current process, boost customer satisfaction and streamline their workflow.

The waiting list currently has more than 7,200 applicants and will officially close on April 22nd at noon. Anyone who applies after that time won’t be processed.
