FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 22-year-old man was shot to death in Fort Wayne on Tuesday night.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office said Codi Allen McCann died from a gunshot wound and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
He is the 47th homicide victim in Allen County this year.
At about 10 p.m. Tuesday, crews were called the 1200 block of East State Boulevard near California Avenue. Police found McCain with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after the shooting, two people arrived at a local hospital. One was suffering from gunshot wounds and is in critical condition.
