FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking for your help locating a recent theft suspect.

The suspect in question reportedly wrote a bad check on Jan. 2 at the Ashley Furniture HomeStore on Lima Road for the amount of $3,097.60.

The worker took the check at the time, but later learned that the check wasn’t any good.

The only description of the suspect provided is that she is a black female.
