FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating an overnight stabbing.

A call came in at 12:08 a.m. Tuesday about a stabbing on Tennessee Avenue near Spy Run Avenue, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

When officers arrived, they found a woman sitting on a couch and blood spots on the floor. The woman said someone wearing a ski mask broke into her residence and stabbed her.

An officer at the scene said he didn’t see any signs of forced entry.

The woman was last listed in serious condition.
