FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men they say robbed a Mejier store.

The store at 6309 Lima Road caught the suspects on surveillance cameras on Jan. 11.

According to a Fort Wayne Police report, the suspects took a knife from the sporting goods section, cut packages open and put the packages’ contents in their pockets.

A loss prevention employee said the suspects walked into the store around 3 a.m. but police weren’t called to the scene until 8 p.m. because a loss prevention employee wasn’t working at the time of the incident. Another employee noticed the discarded packaging.

The store employees noticed the suspects after reviewing surveillance videos.

Anyone with information about the suspects or the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP or 436-7867.
