Fort Wayne VA hospital offers vets free flu shots

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP): The VA Northern Indiana Health Care System Fort Wayne campus is holding a drive-thru flu shot clinic Saturday morning.

Free flu vaccines will be available to all veterans who are registered in a VA facility. The hospital says veterans will need to present their VA identification cards.

Officials say non-registered veterans should contact a local VA Northern Indiana facility for eligibility information before Saturday. VA staff will then advise if they are eligible.

The clinic runs from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
