Four people injured in Noble County crash

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Four people were injured in a three vehicle crash in Noble County on Wednesday, Aug. 31.

At about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am was going north on U.S. 30. When the car slowed down to turn left onto Noe Street, a 2006 Ford Tarus rear-ended it, according to Indiana State Police.

The crash forced the Grand Am left of the center and into the southbound lane. It struck a GMC Acadia driven by a 33-year-old woman.

All three drivers and a passenger were hospitalized. Everyone was wearing seat belts.

A 9-month-old was properly fastened in a child restraint seat and wasn’t injured.

The Indiana State Police is investigating the crash. Police believe alcohol may be a factor in the incident.
