SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP): Mourners gathered for the funeral of a 2-year-old South Bend boy fatally shot while playing outside as police continued looking for those responsible for the gunfire. The funeral for John Swoveland Jr. was held Sunday at a South Bend funeral home. The Rev. Greg Brown tells WNDU-TV and WSBT-TV it was an emotional service with many children on hand. He says a mourner brought an Easter bunny and placed it next to John's body.
