If a new Fort Wayne city ordinance is approved, parking violators in the Summit City will be paying higher fines.  According to 21 Alive, the fine for parking meter violations would double, from $5 to $10.  Tickets that go unpaid for more than 30 days would increase from $10 to $20.  The measure will be introduced today and could be but to a vote by next Tuesday.
