FWCS Opposed to Expanding State Voucher Program

Leaders with Fort Wayne Community School are opposed to plans to expand Indiana’s voucher program. Monday, the school board passed a resolution claiming it would shift funding away from the system. According to the Journal-Gazette, the school district says as much as $21 million of revenue could be diverted to parochial and private schools, without new funding for public schools.
