FWPD Again Starting Downtown Beat Patrol

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Beginning Monday, the Fort Wayne Police Department will again start up their downtown beat patrol. In a release sent by the Fort Wayne Police Department, officials say officers will use bikes, T3’s, an ATV, and foot patrols to canvass an area that is bounded by Clay Street on the east, Broadway on the west, Superior on the north, railroad tracks to the south, Headwaters Park, Lawton Park, and the Greenway surrounding downtown. Officers will patrol weekdays from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
