FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): General Motors Fort Wayne Assembly has received a Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence because of a project increasing energy efficiency and reducing waste and harmful air emissions. The manufacturer's award-winning project includes innovations in its painting process that have reduced hazardous waste and lowered thinner usage. The company received the award at a ceremony Wednesday night.
