Governor Braun Appoints Next Indiana Inspector General

STATEWIDE, Ind. (WOWO) – Indiana Governor Mike Braun has appointed Jared Prentice as the state’s next inspector general.

Prentice, an attorney, previously worked at the Indiana Department of Revenue, Elevance Health, and Deloitte Services.

Braun praised Prentice’s qualifications and expressed confidence in his ability to improve government efficiency and promote ethical practices.

The inspector general’s office aims to reduce fraud, waste, abuse, and wrongdoing in state executive branch agencies through various measures, including investigations and legislative recommendations.
