Gun Show Sponsors’ Backgrounds to be More Closely Analyzed

A sheriff says authorities will scrutinize the sponsors of gun shows more closely under a joint Indiana-Illinois-federal effort to impede the flow of guns across the state line. Sheriff John Buncich of Lake County, Indiana says authorities will more closely review the sponsors of guns shows like those frequently held at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point to ensure that they follow legal guidelines.
