High Water Levels in Many Fort Wayne Areas

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – We’ve received the following information from the city of Fort Wayne.  Drivers are urged to avoid the areas listed below until the water level recedes.  You should also never drive into high water.

City of Fort Wayne news release…

Due to heavy rains overnight, the City of Fort Wayne has several areas of high water. 
 
 
Current Reported areas with high water include;
 
Lake Avenue east of Reed to Maplecreast is closed – the road was washed out

Tonkel/Dupont
Clinton/Superior
Clinton at E. State – traffic is diverted onto E. State for traffic south bound on Clinton.
