Huntington man arrested for setting home on fire twice

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Huntington man was arrested Friday after admitting to deputies he set a woman’s home on fire multiple times.

37-year-old Trenton Bowers was arrested for two fires at a Barbee Lake home, according to our Partners in News at ABC 21.

Deputies say they discovered Bowers behind the home with a lighter Thursday, and Bowers admitted to setting fires at the home on the 27th and 31st. Police say he was in a previous relationship with the victim.

Bowers is facing charges of arson and stalking.

Dang, it’s really sad but the fact of the matter is you can’t be too careful now days about the kind of people you start friendships or relationships of any kind with really! I personally don’t think the whole meeting someone to start talking on the Internet (so they are a stranger anyway you look at that) then meeting them in person when you have no idea what type of individual this may turn out to be is asking for trouble in my opinion!
