IDEM Says ‘No’ to Huntertown’s Wastewater Pant

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management, IDEM, has denied the city of Huntertown permission to build a wastewater treatment plant.  According to the Journal Gazette, IDEM said the proposed plant would cause significant pollution to Geller Ditch.  That’s where the treated water would have been discharged.  Huntertown officials have 18 days to appeal IDEM’s decision.
