IMS Officials Confident of Speedway Security

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials and Indiana State Police say they’re confident in their security plan for this year’s Indianapolis 500 following the deadly blasts at the Boston Marathon. State police Sergeant Brian Olehy says officers will conduct frequent security sweeps of garbage cans but won’t remove them from the track. The Indianapolis 500 is May 26th. </span>
