Ind. Excise Police Cite 4 for Super Bowl Gambling

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Indiana State Excise Police have cited four bars or clubs for illegal gambling related to betting on the Super Bowl and seized more than $93,000. Corporal Travis Thickstun says the most recent citations occurred Saturday. Officers cited Bridges Scoreboard restaurant and sports bar in Griffith on a preliminary charge of public nuisance for promoting professional gambling. Thickstun says officers seized nearly $54,000 there.
