Indiana Marks Holiday with Grief, Summer Spirit

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Indiana residents marked Memorial Day in each their own ways, with military ceremony, gravestone decorations, and sunny cookouts. Parades drew crowds in Fort Wayne and South Bend, and some officials observed a more somber occasion. Gov. Mike Pence spoke at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, where more than 2,000 soldiers from every U.S. war are buried in a 1.4-acre national cemetery.
