Indiana National Guard Processing Same-Sex Benefits Despite Delay

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): The Indiana National Guard has not refused same-sex benefits to Indiana National Guardsmen even though there was a month-long delay. The Guard started processing the benefits on October 3rd, but according to a spokesperson, the delay happened because they were working with the Indiana attorney general's office to learn the impact of the benefits on state-active duty.
