INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ The state of Indiana is looking for local partners to collaborate on projects that address the needs of low-income households.

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority announced this week it's accepting applications for Innovative Community Collaboration projects. It says the program will provide up to $100,000 in total funding to one or more projects featuring partnerships between a community action agency and public or private not-for-profit agencies.

Agency officer Donna Billiard Wright says the grants support the development of new ideas and projects that target low- to moderate-income households.

The program is funded through a federal block grant designed to help community action agencies tackle the causes and conditions of poverty.
