TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) _ Indiana State University says the Missouri Valley Conference has selected it to host the 2016 baseball and outdoor track and field championships.
The school says the selections by the league's Joint Committee are subject to ratification at the MVC Presidents' Council meeting on June 7-8.
The baseball tournament would be held May 25-28, 2016, and track and field on May 13-15, 2016.
It would be the second time in three years that the Sycamores hosted the baseball championships. It would be the first time the outdoor track and field championships were held in Terre Haute since 2009.
