INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Residents of a neighborhood on Indianapolis's south side are still recovering a year after an explosion that killed two and damaged more than 80 homes.

Sunday marks the one-year anniversary of the Richmond Hill explosion. Glenn Olvey tells The Indianapolis Star he is amazed at how far the neighborhood has come back, although he hasn't yet moved back.

The 53-year-old Olvey was pulled out of the rubble less than four minutes before fire raced through it. He says he's been thinking a lot about time over the past year.

Olvey and other neighbors say they can no longer stand loud noises. Some in the neighborhood moved away, saying they couldn't stand to be constantly reminded of the blast. Others, though, say they had to rebuild.
