The school says nursing student Danielle Lowden will be doing her internship in a hospital in Ghana, on the southeast coast of Africa, 5,600 miles away from Fort Wayne.

She’ll be working in a pediatrics unit, as well as neonatal intensive care, child and reproductive health, and the emergency room, from June 25th to August 13th according to an IPFW press release.

She’ll be blogging on her experiences as well. You can find the blog here.
