LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) _ Butler faces Patriot League champion Bucknell on Thursday in the East region of the NCAA tournament. The sixth-seeded Bulldogs are coming off a loss to Saint Louis in the Atlantic 10 tournament semifinals. Butler is two years removed from back-to-back NCAA title game appearances, while Bucknell upset powerhouse Kansas in the 2005 tournament.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) _ Horizon League tournament champion Valparaiso opens NCAA tournament play Thursday as a No. 14 seed. The Crusaders will play No. 3 seed Michigan State in Auburn Hills, Mich. The Spartans are coming off a loss to Ohio State in the Big Ten tournament.
