TinCaps Take Game 1; Series Shifts to Lansing

Tyler Stubblefield had 3 hits, including a long home run to lead the TinCaps to a 5-2 win over lansing in Game 1 of their best of three series last night at Parkview Field. Travis Jankowski drove in two runs with a couple of hits for the winners and Leo High School grad Brandon Alger pitched 2/3 of an inning, giving up a hit while striking out 2. Game two of the series will be tonight in Lansing, broadcast time on 1380 ESPN will be at 6:45.
