INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): The deadline for attorneys to apply to become an Indiana Supreme Court justice is on Jan. 25.
The Judicial Nominating Commission announced in November it was accepting applications to replace Justice Brent Dickson, who is retiring in April.
The commission, chaired by Chief Justice Loretta Rush, recruits and interviews applicants for appellate judicial vacancies.
The commission will review applications and interview qualified candidates next month with a likely second round of interviews in March.
The commission will recommend three finalists to Governor Pence, who then has 60 days to make an appointment.
