Jeb Bush to kick off IPFW Omnibus Lecture Series for 2016-17

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Former Presidential candidate Jeb Bush is coming to Fort Wayne.

He’s been invited to help kick off IPFW’s 2016-2017 Omnibus Lecture Series. “Leadership, Redefined: An Evening with Jeb Bush” will take place on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the John and Ruth Rhinehart Music Center’s Auer Performance Hall.

The series features speakers from politics, journalism, and sports. The lineup includes Fort Wayne native and New York Times correspondent Charlie Savage, NCAA President Mark Emmett, and notable concussion doctor Bennett Omalu, whose work is the basis of the movie “Concussion”.

Bush is a former two-term Governor of Florida and has authored three books.

Tickets are free and can be obtained at the IPFW Larsen Ticket office Monday through Friday, online, or an hour before each lecture if seats are still available.
