FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…at least at Jefferson Pointe.

The tree lighting ceremony will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12. It will kick off the holiday season at Jefferson Pointe, according to the shopping center. School of Rock will start the ceremony with a performance starting at 5 p.m.

“We are thrilled to have the School of Rock students to perform at our annual event this year. It is all about community support and bringing the community together for a special night as we kick off the holiday season,” Marketing Manager at Jefferson Pointe Katrina Newman said.

A live reindeer will be near the tree on Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. After the tree lighting, music will run nightly each half hour starting at 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
