Judge Sentences Muncie Man to Prison for Stalking Ex-Girlfriend

MUNCIE, Ind. (WOWO): A central Indiana judge has sentenced a Muncie man to 12 years in prison for stalking his former girlfriend. A Delaware County Judge told 25-year-old Darryl Goodwin during yesterday's hearing that “your actions speak very, very loudly to me.” Prosecutors say Goodwin called his ex-girlfriend more than 1,000 times and sent more than 800 texts, some of them threatening, during a two-week period in January and February. Goodwin was convicted of two counts of stalking, and had previously been convicted of battering and harassing the same woman.
