LaGrange Center Receives Domestic Violence Funds

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): More than $1.2 million is coming to five Indiana domestic violence shelters. One of those locations is in LaGrange County.

The money is part of the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute's efforts to suppport victims of domestic violence. The program has selected Elijah Haven Crisis Invention Center in LaGrange.

Officials with the Domestic Violence Treatment and Prevent Fund say they've supported 48 shelters around the state in 2014 with more than $3.9 million in aid.
