LaGrange County Police End Rumors Surrounding Door-to-Door Book Sellers

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): LaGrange County police have put an end to rumors surrounding some door-to-door book sellers.

The LaGrange County Sheriff's Department has been receiving several phone calls about some people going door-to-door selling books.

Officer's spoke to these folks and say what they’re doing is legitimate and the rumors going around Facebook and the community that these people are attempting to steal children are false.

According to police, they’re just trying to put themselves through college by raising money.

However, if anyone has issues with any salespersons trying to force them to purchase items, contact the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department.
