FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A lawsuit has been filed against Northwest Allen County Schools after reports say a child was sexually abused on a school bus. 

The child’s parents filed negligence, negligent emotional distress and premises liability claims against the district for the incidents that they say happened in January of this year. 

The child, who was in kindergarten at Aspen Meadow Elementary School at the time, was allegedly abused by another student bus rider on multiple days. 

Each incident was reportedly caught on video.

21 Alive News says the lawsuit claims NACS failed to intervene and protect the victim by changing seating arrangements or adding staff on buses. 

They say parents are requesting a jury trial and damages.
