FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Kosciusko County officers arrest a Leesburg man within minutes of stealing a vehicle Thursday afternoon.

Around 1:30 yesterday, police were alerted of a vehicular crash at the intersection of Armstrong & Baseline roads, just south of Leesburg. Crews arrived within minutes, and apprehended the driver, 20-year-old Tyler Boocher, who was running from the scene. During the course of the investigation, officials determined that the crashed vehicle had been previously taken from the Warsaw Walmart parking lot. Officers located the rightful owners of the vehicle, which were unaware that their vehicle was stolen while they had been shopping. 

Boocher was arrested and now faces a number of charges.
