Wanted Steuben County Sex Offender Arrested in California

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Just before 6:00 p.m. local time Thursday, wanted registered sex offender Jack Miller Jr. was located and apprehended near Lodi, California.

Miller had been the subject of an investigation conducted by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office after a warrant for his arrest was issued last month charging Miller with failure to register as a sex or violent offender.

Miller was taken into custody and is now the subject a federal investigation into possible violations of the federal sex offender registry law known as the Adam Walsh Act.

Miller was also wanted by the Indiana Department of Correction Parole Board for allegedly violating his parole and had another arrest warrant out of Steuben County for failing to appear in court on an unrelated misdemeanor offense.
