DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – Indiana State Troopers arrested 46-year-old Christopher B. Davis, of Fort Wayne, after a seven mile vehicle pursuit.

Auburn Police Officers in Dekalb County responded to a call regarding a man threatening a woman on the 1600 block of South Wayne Street in Auburn.  Indiana State Trooper, James Bailey, was on his way to the residence when he spotted a blue 97 Oldsmobile speeding eastbound on County Road 56. Trooper Bailey also heard a call on the radio that the Oldsmobile came from the residence that had reported the threats.

Trooper Bailey then started to pursue Davis, who did not stop and continued to drive southbound on County Road 427 into Allen County.  Stop sticks were put out by another Trooper in attempt to stop the Oldsmobile.  Davis swerved to avoid the stop sticks and as a result hit the rear of another vehicle at the intersection at Hursh Road. Davis then continued on for a quarter of a mile before stopping his vehicle.

Davis was arrested and taken to the Dekalb County Jail where he has preliminary charges of stalking, resisting law enforcement, intimidation, Criminal Recklessness and reckless driving.
