STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind (WOWO): Steuben County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a rural Ashley man on a warrant charging him with class D felony battery to a child less than 14 years of age.  The arrest of 27-year-old Danny L. Squier Jr. was the result of a 6 week investigation into an alleged biting incident that was said to have occurred in February of this year involving the suspect and a 4-year-old child.  Squier was arrested without incident and booked into the Steuben County Jail.  He is being held without bond pending a court appearance.
