Sentencing Scheduled in Mercer County Murder

A Mercer County, Ohio judge is expected to hand down a sentence next week in the murders of Robert and Colleen Grube.

A July 17 court date has been set for Trevin Sanders. In November 2011, Sanders broke into the Fort Recovery home of Grube and his adult daughter.

According to court documents, both Grube's were bound and shot during a robbery. Sanders was 17 at the time, faces life in prison. Because of his age at time, he was a juvenile making him ineligible for the death penalty.

Another suspect in the case, 23-year old Bryant Rhoads will return to court July 15.
