Man dies following Sunday shooting in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The man who was shot early Sunday morning in Fort Wayne has died, according to the Allen County Coroner.

Police received a call about gunshots in the 5500 block of Glenridge Drive around 2 a.m., according to our partners in news at 21Alive.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had a gunshot wound in his abdomen.

He was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital, where he later died.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday and the incident is still under investigation.
