Man Dies From Shot to Head After Road Rage Argument

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Police say a motorcyclist was shot and killed by another motorist after road rage led to a confrontation in a parking lot on the east side of Indianapolis.

Police dispatchers received a report of shots fired around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Officer Chris Wilburn says 41-year-old Nicholas Norris was found with a gunshot wound to his head. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Investigators believe Norris and the driver of an SUV pulled off a road into a pawn shop parking lot, and the SUV driver shot Norris.

Wilburn says police are still searching for the driver of the SUV.

Details of the events that led to the shooting were not available.
