Man Found Dead Near Railroad Tracks Identified, Manner Ruled Accidental

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The man found dead along the railroad tracks near Hendricks Street and Fairfield Avenue, has been identified.


According to the Allen County Coroner, 25-year-old Dreyden Troyer of Fort Wayne, was pronounced dead on the scene. His body was found around 11:00 a.m., Wednesday by Norfolk Southern employees.


After an autopsy was completed Thursday morning, the coroner ruled his death, as accidental.


Troyer was apparently hit by a train as he was walking near the tracks early Wednesday morning. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma and no foul play is suspected.
