Man Found Guilty In Fatal 2024 Shooting

 

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A man has been found guilty of felony murder after a fatal 2024 shooting. 

28-year-old Dana Minies Jr. was charged with murder, felony murder and robbery resulting in serious bodily harm. 

He was found not guilty of the murder charge, but was found guilty of the other two. 

Reports say medics arrived at the scene in 2024 where they found 27-year-old Travon Holman suffering from gunshot wounds. 

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

Minies has been at the Allen County Jail since the day of the incident. 

He now faces up to 95 years in prison if given the maximum sentence. However, a sentencing date has not yet been released.
