FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Just after midnight Tuesday morning, police responded to Family Dollar on Broadway in reference to an alarm.

Once on the scene, officials were met by an employee who said after closing, she was notified by the alarm company of motion trips in the stockroom. Officers searched the room and found a man, later identified as Darin Charlton, hiding behind the emergency exit door. Charlton then took off running through the back door.

Police eventually caught up to Charlton, who would not cooperate. He was Tased and then taken into custody.

Charlton faces a number of charges.
