FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police are investigating an incident that left a man in critical condition. Around 5:43 Monday morning, officers were called to the intersection of Goodfellow and Shannon Drives in reference to an unconscious person lying in the street. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Initial reports show two pedestrians found the victim and called police. Detectives are canvassing the neighborhood and speaking with nearby residents, but at this time, they're unable to determine if this is a criminal investigation. Detectives will have more information once the victim is medically evaluated.
