DALEVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Authorities says a man has been fatally stabbed and his wife injured in an attack at a truck terminal.
Delaware County Coroner Scott Hahn identified the victim as 55-year-old Mark A. Hittson of Delaware County. Hittson's wife, Teresa, also 55, was released after treatment for lacerations at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
The attack occurred Tuesday morning at a truck terminal in Daleville, about 40 miles northeast of Indianapolis.
The Star Press reported a 47-year-old Muncie man was being held on a preliminary charge of murder.
Daleville Police Chief James King said he had no immediate information on a motive or any connection between the suspect and the victim.
King says he believes it's the first homicide in Daleville in about 20 years.
